Update as of April 1, 2020:

Contractors -

The SMACNA Board of Trustees has agreed to take the following actions in an effort to provide Signatory Contractors with relief as a result of the COVID Pandemic:

1) ALL INDUSTRY FUND CONTRIBUTIONS FOR HOURS WORKED IN MARCH PAID IN APRIL ARE SUSPENDED FOR ALL CONTRIBUTING EMPLOYERS.

We are working with Rehn and Associates to change the data entry fields for Industry Fund contributions for April reporting. When you go to report Fringes for March Hours Worked - Paid in April, please zero out the Industry Fund Contribution total. Please contact the SMACNA - Western Washington office concerning Public Works / Prevailing Wage projects and reporting.

2) ADDITIONAL INDUSTRY FUND RELIEF FOR ONE MONTH AT THE REQUEST OF THE CONTRIBUTING EMPLOYER.

Each Signatory Contractor is entitled to request one additional month of Industry Fund Relief during the 2020 Calendar Year. The request must be submitted to the SMACNA - WW office prior to 30th of the month in the month the hours were worked. This relief may not be taken retroactively. You can elect not to take this relief.

3) NO MEMBER DUES AND NO EDUCATIONAL EVENT SUBSIDIES FOR THE 2020 CALENDAR YEAR.

SMACNA - Western Washington will NOT be charging Annual Member Dues for the 2020 Calendar Year. Additionally, SMACNA - WW will waive all "additional attendee" charges for any Educational Membership Seminar and/or Meeting (this does not include social meetings, i.e. Golf, Gala, Crab Feed etc.).

SMACNA - Western Washington is dedicated to the success of each Contributing Employer and is here to offer support and guidance to all of you during this unprecedented crisis. As this pandemic continues to morph and change, the SMACNA - WW Trustees will continue to consider additional relief measures for all Contributing Employers.

Please feel free to call me if you have any questions concerning same.

Regards-

Julie Muller, Esq.
