Construction has always been a big part of my family’s life; we all helped build my family home with my dad. I also had a family friend go into architecture, which helped push me into construction management in college. I thought it would be the coolest thing to be able to drive down I-5 and point to projects that I got to work on throughout my career.
I really love what I’m currently doing as a senior project manager, and hope I get to work on more projects that are dedicated to being more efficient, sustainable and technologically advanced. I want to continue to grow and learn new systems and processes on each one as they come. I enjoy being a people manager and want to build a solid team of people and continue to be a mentor for the younger generation of PEs just starting out in our industry. I’d also like to be more involved in community outreach to get younger folks excited about the opportunities that construction has to offer!
Outside of work, my hobbies include golf, soccer, reading and hiking with my dogs.
